The Finest in Martial Arts, Self Defence, Savate & Kickboxing
The Academy was established in 1989 by instructors qualified in a variety of martial arts and combat disciplines. We offer high-quality, safe and fun classes in a friendly and appropriately relaxed environment. Our three main training programmes are Integrated fighting arts, Savate and Canne de Combat. You can chose to train in one or all of these programmes. Find out more in The Arts. Our instructors are DBS checked and fully insured. You can find out more about our instructors by visiting the Instructor menu, in About Us.
Training Update - June 2021
Following the latest stage in the lifting of the lock down in England, all members are now able to return to "in person" group training with us. We are offering face-to-face training sessions, for members, on three evenings each week, as shown on the class timetable. We are continuing to follow Government advice and rules to keep everyone as safe as possible from Coronavirus, which means only low-risk activities are permitted.
Once all restrictions have been lifted by the Government, we plan to move quickly back into our Full Training Programmes once again. For more information about training with the Academy, please send us a message via the 'Contact' tab
Training Update - April 2021
With the gradual lifting of the lock down in England, our Juniors members are now able to return to "in person" group training with us. We are continuing to follow Government advice and rules to keep everyone as safe as possible from Coronavirus, which means only low-risk activities are permitted.
Adult members are now able to book space at our Open Gym self-training sessions. We can provide individual training plans for those attending. Assuming everything goes as planned with the Government Roadmap, adults will be able to return to indoor group training sessions from Monday 17th May.
We are also providing Thursday evening Online Training for Members at this time, and will continue to do so until mid-May, when we hope to be able to offer face-to-face training sessions, for all members, at least two evenings each week. Once all restrictions have been lifted by the Government, we plan to move quickly back into our Full Training Programmes once again.
