Cambridge Academy is pleased to congratulate Morgan Alexander on her performance in the Qualifying Tournament of the World Savate Combat Championship. After three tough fights, Morgan took bronze in her category.

Cambridge Academy is proud to host a seminar with a legend of Savate, Amri Madani. Our intro photo shows Amri, with Senior Instructor Ollie Batts, at a seminar in Sparta, Greece.

Amri is a true champion in ability and manner. An iconic figure in the world of French boxing, with the highest quality of technical skills, he devoted time and energy to his fight preparations to achieve his objectives. He was unbeaten in Savate from March 2003. He was Champion of France Elite A in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007, Champion of Europe in 2004 and 2006 and World Champion in 2005 and 2007. He was also World Champion in K1 in 2009. 

Cambridge Academy is proud to host a seminar with Maul Mornie in March 2015. Maul Mornie is a Silat Master from Seria, a small town in Brunei, but he is currently based here in the United Kingdom. His YouTube channel, Maul565, now has several thousand subscribers, and millions of upload views.

Undoubtedly the major event of the martial arts world, in 2013, was the World Combat Games in St Petersburg in October. Fifteen International Martial Arts & Combat Sports Federations took part in the Games, bringing over 2000 athletes together for 10 days.

Join us at St Bede's on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd September for an International Celebration of Savate. With great pleasure, we welcome Annukka Volotinen from Finland, current World Vice-Champion in Savate Combat and Florence Quist, top competitor and trainer, currently living in Belgium who will teach both Savate Assaut and Savate Combat skills.
