Defender moves away from the kick and shields with bent forearm. Defender immediately encircles the leg with their arm, and then trips or unbalances Attacker.<\/p>\n<p>In set (b) Attacker kicks higher, and so Defender blocks and catches from underneath (leg cradled in the crook of the elbow).
