The Academy was established in 1989 by instructors qualified in a variety of martial arts and combat disciplines. We offer high-quality, safe and fun classes in a friendly and appropriately relaxed environment.

European Canne de Combat Championships

CAMA has been chosen to host the next European Canne de Combat Championships in September 2010. The competition will run over 2 days at the Leys Sports Complex, and we expect to see the top European Cannists in action there. We are beginning to plan for this event - we hope many members will want to be involved - if you are willing to volunteer in any capacity, please contact Senior Instructor Julie Gabriel . Senior Instructor Julie Gabriel has had two trips to international Savate Events in as many weeks. The first trip was to La Coruna, Spain, where she represented Great Britain in the European Savate Assaut Championships in the 52-56kg category. As part of our 20th year celebrations, Sifu Rick Faye visited Cambridge Academy of Martial Arts® in October. Cambridge Academy is extremely proud of its long association with Rick Faye and his Minnesota Kali Group.
